Responsible Gaming

Version: 1.0  |  Last Updated: 4 November 2026

1. Our Commitment

At Trixino, we believe that gambling should always be an enjoyable, leisure activity — never a source of financial stress, emotional harm, or personal hardship. Our commitment to responsible gaming is not a regulatory checkbox; it is a core value that shapes every product decision, customer-service interaction, and marketing choice we make.

We are dedicated to providing a safe and transparent environment for all players. This means equipping you with the information, tools, and support you need to stay in control of your gambling at every stage of your journey with us. We work continuously to identify players who may be experiencing difficulties and to intervene in a timely, sensitive manner. Where we cannot provide the level of specialist care required, we will direct you to free professional organisations without delay.

This Responsible Gaming Policy should be read alongside our Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy, which together govern the full scope of your relationship with Trixino.

2. Recognising Problem Gambling

Problem gambling develops gradually and can affect people from all walks of life, regardless of income, background, or experience. It is defined as gambling behaviour that disrupts or damages personal, family, or professional life. Many individuals do not recognise the warning signs in themselves; this is why honest self-reflection is so important.

Please review the following checklist carefully and honestly. If you answer yes to three or more of these questions, we strongly encourage you to reach out to one of the support organisations listed in Section 6 or to contact our team directly.

  • Preoccupation: Do you find yourself frequently thinking about gambling — planning your next session, recalling past wins or losses, or working out ways to obtain money to gamble with?
  • Escalation: Do you need to gamble with increasingly larger amounts of money in order to experience the same level of excitement or satisfaction?
  • Loss of control: Have you made repeated, unsuccessful attempts to cut back, control, or stop gambling altogether?
  • Withdrawal symptoms: Do you feel restless, irritable, anxious, or low in mood when you try to reduce or stop gambling?
  • Escape gambling: Do you gamble as a way to escape problems, relieve feelings of helplessness, guilt, anxiety, or depression?
  • Chasing losses: After losing money, do you feel a strong urge to return to gambling the next day — or the same day — in order to win it back?
  • Concealment: Have you lied to family members, a partner, or other close people in your life to hide the extent of your gambling activity or the money involved?
  • Financial harm: Have you borrowed money, sold possessions, or failed to meet financial obligations such as rent, bills, or repayments in order to fund gambling?
  • Relationship damage: Has gambling caused you to miss important events, neglect responsibilities, or created serious conflict within your personal or professional relationships?
  • Continued gambling despite harm: Do you continue to gamble even when you are fully aware that it is causing significant problems in your finances, relationships, or mental health?

Remember: acknowledging that gambling may have become a problem is a sign of strength, not weakness. Effective, free help is available in the United Kingdom — see Section 6 for a full directory of support organisations.

3. Player Protection Tools

Trixino provides a comprehensive suite of responsible gaming tools, available directly from your account dashboard under My Account > Responsible Gaming. All limits and restrictions you apply take effect within the timeframes described below and can only be relaxed after a mandatory cooling-off period. Our team can apply any of these tools on your behalf if you contact us at support@trixinocasinouk.com.

3.1 Deposit Limits

You can set a maximum amount that may be deposited into your Trixino account over a chosen period: daily, weekly, or monthly. Once a limit is active, no deposit exceeding that threshold will be processed, regardless of the payment method used. Increases to an existing deposit limit do not take effect immediately; they are subject to a minimum 24-hour reflection period to prevent impulsive decision-making. Reductions, however, apply instantly upon confirmation.

3.2 Loss Limits

A loss limit caps the total net losses you can incur within a defined period — daily, weekly, or monthly. If your net losses reach the set threshold before the period ends, all further real-money wagering will be suspended until the period resets. As with deposit limits, any increase to a loss limit is subject to a 24-hour delay, while reductions take immediate effect.

3.3 Session Time Limits

You may set a maximum duration for each individual gaming session. When you approach the end of your chosen session length, Trixino will display a clear on-screen notification. Once the time limit expires, your session will end automatically. You can also enable reality check reminders, which display a pop-up at regular intervals showing how long you have been playing and your net position for that session.

3.4 Wagering Limits

In addition to deposit and loss limits, you may set a cap on the total amount staked across all games within a defined period. This provides an additional layer of budget control, particularly for players who enjoy bonus features, free spins, or high-frequency games.

3.5 Cooling-Off Period

If you feel that you need a short break from gambling without committing to a full self-exclusion, you may activate a cooling-off period of between 24 hours and 6 weeks. During this time, your account will be suspended and you will be unable to log in, deposit, or place bets. You will not receive promotional communications during your cooling-off period. This tool is designed to give you space to reflect on your gambling habits without permanently closing your account. Cooling-off periods cannot be shortened once activated — the full duration must elapse before access is restored.

3.6 Self-Exclusion

Self-exclusion is a formal commitment to stop gambling for a substantial period. At Trixino, you may self-exclude for a minimum of 6 months, up to a maximum of 5 years, or on a permanent basis. Once self-exclusion is confirmed, your account will be closed immediately. Any remaining balance will be returned to you in full via your verified payment method. All marketing communications will cease permanently.

We will make every reasonable effort to ensure that you cannot create a new account with Trixino during your self-exclusion period. However, we strongly encourage all players who self-exclude to also register with GAMSTOP (gamstop.co.uk), the national self-exclusion scheme that covers all UK-licensed online gambling operators simultaneously. Self-exclusion cannot be reversed early; requests to shorten the exclusion period will not be processed.

3.7 Account Closure

At any time and without providing a reason, you may request the permanent closure of your Trixino account. Closure requests should be submitted in writing to support@trixinocasinouk.com. Your remaining balance will be refunded within five business days of the account being closed. If you are requesting closure due to concerns about your gambling, please inform our team so that appropriate responsible gaming flags can be recorded.

4. Tips for Responsible Gambling

Responsible gambling is about making informed, deliberate choices. The following principles can help you maintain a healthy relationship with gambling over the long term:

  • Set a budget before you play. Decide in advance how much money you can comfortably afford to lose — treating that amount as the full cost of your entertainment. Never gamble with money allocated to essential expenses such as rent, bills, food, or savings.
  • Treat gambling as entertainment, not income. The house edge means that, over time, the mathematical expectation favours the operator. Never view gambling as a reliable way to generate money or to resolve financial difficulties.
  • Use our limit tools proactively. Setting deposit, loss, and session limits before you begin playing — rather than after a losing streak — is the most effective way to stay in control. Review your limits regularly and adjust them honestly to reflect your current financial situation.
  • Take regular breaks. Step away from the screen at regular intervals. Fatigue and prolonged play can impair judgement and lead to decisions you would not otherwise make.
  • Never chase losses. Attempting to recover losses by placing larger bets or continuing to play beyond your budget is one of the most common patterns of problem gambling. If you have reached your pre-set loss limit, stop playing for the day.
  • Avoid gambling under the influence. Alcohol, recreational substances, or extreme emotional states — whether excitement, frustration, or anxiety — significantly reduce the quality of decision-making. Gamble only when you are calm and clear-headed.
  • Keep gambling in proportion. If you notice that gambling is consuming time or mental energy that you would otherwise dedicate to friends, family, work, or health, it is time to reassess. Balance is essential to sustainable, enjoyable play.
  • Know when to seek help. If gambling has stopped feeling fun and started feeling compulsive, please do not wait. The resources in Section 6 are free, confidential, and available around the clock.

5. Protection of Minors

Trixino operates exclusively for adults. The minimum age to register and gamble on our platform is 18 years old. We apply rigorous age-verification procedures at the point of registration and before any withdrawal is processed. We reserve the right to request identity documentation at any stage and to suspend an account pending satisfactory verification.

We are aware that children and young people may access household devices on which a parent or guardian's Trixino account is logged in. We strongly urge all adult players to take the following precautions:

  • Never share your Trixino account credentials with anyone, including family members.
  • Log out of your account completely after every session, particularly on shared or family devices.
  • Enable password protection on your device and browser profile to prevent unauthorised access.
  • Keep payment cards and financial information out of reach of children.

For additional protection, we recommend installing dedicated parental control and internet filtering software on shared devices. Well-established options include Net Nanny, Kaspersky Safe Kids, and Family Zone, all of which can be configured to block access to gambling websites. The Internet Watch Foundation (iwf.org.uk) and Internet Matters (internetmatters.org) also provide guidance on safer online habits for families.

Any individual found to be under 18 years of age will have their account closed immediately. Any funds deposited by a minor will be withheld pending investigation and may be returned to the payment source, subject to our obligations under applicable law. Any winnings accumulated by an underage player will not be paid out.
